Leadership Cayman Class of 2025 Graduates in Style!

12 Jul 2025

The evening honoured 22 professionals who completed the six-month programme, joining a growing network of over 360 alumni committed to shaping the future of the Cayman Islands.

The event was a celebration of growth, connection, and purpose. From their first retreat in Cayman Brac to immersive seminars across the islands, the Class of 2025 explored critical sectors including education, infrastructure, sustainability, and healthcare. Along the way, they built lasting relationships and developing a deeper understanding of what it means to lead with integrity and impact.

Graduate Eshan Vij captured the spirit of the evening in his opening remarks: “From a room full of different personalities, we became a team. Leadership is about service, humility, and courage. We’ve learned not only from the experts, but from each other.”

One of the highlights of the programme was their Class Project, the Heritage Hunt, developed in partnership with the National Trust. This island-wide scavenger hunt invited the public to rediscover Cayman’s cultural and environmental heritage, blending fun with education and community engagement.

Chamber President-Elect Cristina Spratt applauded the graduates for their dedication and drive: “Tonight, we honour a remarkable group of professionals who have chosen to invest in themselves, their community, and their future. You’ve proven that leadership is not just a title—it’s action, dedication, and growth.”

She also encouraged the graduates to remain active in the Leadership Cayman alumni network and to continue serving as ambassadors for the programme: “Leadership Cayman is more than a programme—it’s a family.”

The evening wrapped up with the presentation of plaques and the always-popular Superlative Awards, where graduates were recognised with humorous and heartfelt titles that reflected their personalities and contributions.

Class Chairman James Robinson closed the ceremony with a message of gratitude: “This has been a unique experience of leadership and personal growth. Thank you for the friendships, the lessons, and the memories.”
